Is anyone more incompetent at MW2 than me?

Well.  Am I good at this game or what?!
I've passed the idiot stage of 1 kills to 357 deaths and can now string a handful of kills together.  So now I can get sentry guns!  Hurray!  Guaranteed success!  Can't lose now!  Right? Wrong.  Results of my sentry gun drops so far -
1.  Called for it inside a building so it landed on the roof where I couldn't get to it.
2.  Got killed before picking it up and respawned on the other side of the map.
3.  (and this is my favourite) Dropped it on my own head and killed myself.
4.  When it fell, it hit the edge of a roof and bounced over a fence, out of play.
5.  Got killed and had it stolen by the enemy.
6. Got killed and had it stolen by a team mate.
7.  It got stuck on the edge of another roof.
Out of ten, I've only managed to set up 3. 
If anyone reading are those who have stolen my sentry guns, can you please send them back to me.  (Gently please, don't drop them on my head.)

I've not actually played this much online, completed the single player in a little over 4.5 hours. Might hop online (XBOX 360) in the next few days to see if I'm as good as I remember (probably not). At least it'll give me chance to shoot 'The Giblet'.

That's fighting talk, Mr O'Caster.  I hardly think you'll be able to stand holding one of your own grenades for too long and blow yourself up with the same grace and elegance as me.  You;ll probably do something stupid like throw it at the enemy.

Use predator missile, gurantees atleast 1 kill. Most of the time you will get double kill if you can aim it properly. Then that becomes 7, call in a harrier strike and let the streak build up.

'Borrowwed'?  Hmm. 
I think I had mine 'borrowed'  on Quarry and Highrise in Domination last night.  They were both black, about 6 feet tall.  Does that sound like the one that you 'borrowed'?

Aha, you have the sentry gun.  You're stringing along more kills than I am at the moment.
In my defense I'm a PC COD4 player transferring to XBox and still trying to figure out how the hell to home in on a target quickly without a mouse...

Trust me, you can't be less competent than me !
My son plays this all the time and this morning he was celebrating his first nuke (25 kill streak). He made me have a go once and I couldn't even figure out which way I was facing !!! 
I think it's a generation thing.
