Off; for Gaming if every mS counts, but it can effect connection stability and reduce speed.

What's the reason for not being able to turn it back on by the way?

Maybe PN support can clarify this?

Once it is established that interleaving was required for this purpose, we would reserve the right to apply a charge for further requests.
Right now, we do not charge. Obviously, if it becomes an issue that managing the orders becomes time consuming, and thus costly, this may change.
We would normally note that further requests may incur a charge.

The only cases where it would be bad for me is if my line dropped every few seconds, but if that happened I would just plug back in my DG834 (theyre great with bad lines), and tweak the snr values.
I once had a line with a serious line fault, and turning interleaving off on that meant that all the reconnects to the exchange gave me a download speed of a few kb/s - which means ping goes back up again ^^ - when someone phoned my house phone, I would find my download speed went from 6 meg to less than 0.1 meg
My pings current about 45 to 60 on most servers I play, with interleaving off it should be 30 to 45 or something along those lines. Hopefully less as im very close to my exchange too.
On a gaming package I really don't care about download speed (I do all my downloads during the off-peak hours when im sleeping anyway), a stable ping was the most important for me 🙂
You can tell if interleaving is affecting your line much by going
Start -> Run -> "cmd" -> then in the black box typing in "tracert www.multiplay.co.uk"
And look at the first value above a few ms. With interleaving off you want less than 25 - it varies, some people I know get 8, some get 20. - And with it on you can probably expect 35+ for your first 'hop'. The difference in these is going to be the difference in your average ping 🙂

When im playing it is like james said, like im the only punter on the central, i was on a US server yesterday and i can see the difference
Well worth the money, i was going to upgrade to the 40GB tariff but sod it i'll stick on this and just add £20 of extra BW a month so i don't lose out on the performance
and all this ontop of the fact im still in 10 days training - thngs really can, only get better

which is even better and should reflect the pings to PN's new game servers when they get there.
