Interleaving On or Off?? Advice

Guys
I have a terrible problems connecting online to MW2 on my PS3 and awful lag! Especially in the last 5 weeks or so.
I have a solid connection with about 1.8 download ( Market town, middle of Wiltshire)
I have asked to turn the interleaving off as I have read that it will improve my ping and latency. However I have had a warnig fro PN telling me it may make my connection unstable.
Anyone give me the answer... shall I turn it off????

Couple of questions:
1) What router are you using
2) How are you connecting your PS3 to it?

Roter: Netgear DG834 V4 with the latest firmware
and the PS3 is hardwired with 200mb powerplugs

Have you got the PS3 in the DMZ? What is your NAT reporting as?

Havent put it into DMZ as an OPEN nat

You're pings aren't horrendous, interleaving probably would help - assuiming your wiring etc is up to scratch and the line doesn't have many errors.
One thing it probably won't be viable to do but might be interesting would be to plug your ps3 directly into the router bypassing the homeplugs and see if the problem still exits.
I have been playing MW2 without any real issue since the release day.

I have hardwired my PS3 direct to the router and I get no lag!!!!!
Oh well back to the drawing board with my power plugs!

We have our PS3 connected up with Netgear HDX101 PowerLine Adapters and they work fine. Pings from my PC to the PS3 are always sub 5ms.
Maybe you've got something "noisy" on your mains circuit. It might be worth unplugging a few things to see if you can isolate the culprit.

Those ping times are pretty much the min you get on an interleaved line and should reduce to 15/16ms with interleaving turned off.
However, you may get a lower sync rate if you line is bad (which the interleaving has been compensating for) so I would give it a try and if you find it a problem, revert back to interleaving on.

I'd defo put interleaving off to begin with,And  I get lag no matter who the host if my dl speed is less than 2mb , you should try to increase your dl .

I had an issue myself with my network, a DG834G, homeplugs and a PS3, the Netgear wasn't routing traffic properly, my PC was getting traffic my PS3 was supposed to get and stuff like that, no idea what the issue was but I switched routers and the homeplugs play nice now.
