Hey Mr P Richardson whats the latest ?

The past 2 weeks i and others have been having issues playing battlefield 3, i actully thought it was down to EA backend servers playing up again but it seams only myself and friends who use PN have this problem.
Last night about 9pm i was getting connection problems again, basicly rubberbanding and getting alot of orange triangles showing connection drops.
Any news on whats going on and whats being done so far ?

Right now, the case is with our suppliers.
They have contacted me within the last hour for some further information, but we cannot pull this information due to the level of access needed.
We are currently looking for resource to obtain this and will provide it to them hopefully at some point today.

Whilst both Battlefield 3 and Lotro are suffering from the same symptoms, we do not as of yet know they are the same problem.
Once we have the case raised and they have had opportunity to investigate it, we should be able to find that out.

Quick update, we got the file we needed and it is now back with our suppliers.

i only get problems on a evening   gateway 07 - 08 run fine but any other gives problems ?
also when i get the game problem i lose some DL speed too ?

Hi,
No, this has not been resolved yet.
The case was raised to our suppliers and they have asked for various bits of supporting information for this and a few other cases.
As I indicated in another thread, we have done some work to your account to resolve this on a temporary basis. Once we have full signatures in for this we will remove this fix.

Sorry, I had spotted the thread last week and then is slipped my mind to reply.
Some news though. We have received an update for BF3 and a few other games and applications today.
This doesn't mean we are out of the wood just yet though. We have to undergo testing and a deployment test plan yet.
We will let you guys know direct once we get there, as your own use will a serve to verify anyway.

Cheers i recived a Email today  , PN has updated game files "We made a change to our traffic management database this morning to correctly identify this game. If you continue to see problems after today then please let us know."

I have been to the punch by Dave.
The plan to do this was delivered yesterday afternoon, and didn't get around to updating these posts individually.
At this point in time, all the bits we can see have been done. Using the captures we have received already, we have verified they should operate. However we operate in the real world.
Let us know how you get on and be aware, that if things are not quite to plan (boooo), we will need some new captures.

Hi All,
I am also experiancing excessive LAG and dropped connections on BF3 (xbox), its slowy getting worse (playing like a complete NooB now)
Seeing a lot of Delay throught the Plusnet network (see below), this was taken at 8 in the morning, so I would think this is light traffic.
I will do one for night to see the differance and post
