Here is a little offering for you. If your looking for a great router then look no further than the Ubiquiti Edge Router. It does require someone with IT knowledge to set it up but, pings are low and the great thing is if you don't block outbound ports then the state-full firewall is that good that you don't require forwarding any ports to your gaming console nor do you have to put your console in a DMZ to get OPEN NAT status 
I am running open nat without port forwarding or upnp (good thing) or dmz.
Just beware this has no wifi built in (it is a pure router) and it does require an external modem, the standard BTOR modem will do fine. This thing can handle up to 1 million ppps!!
