Just knocked a bit more off my time its now 1.43.315
I know I can knock some more off but its getting frustrating now. Had about 20 times in the 1 min 43 range but its just trying to get every corner bang on to trim down them few more tenths.

@ Chris , iirc you can goto the leaderboards for the track we are doing , if you press the blue X button twice you then get a list of friends laptimes , I think then if you select one of our names you can choose to race our ghost? That way you might be able to see where the extra 3 seconds is coming from like turn in points etc.
Not 100% on that but I think you can do it.

Paul, looks like I'm not home and dry yet! Will have to get back on and try to improve my time as your getting too close for comfort and Matt hasn't posted a time yet.

Yeah not alot in it now mate , very close , I think there is a 1.42 in there , but its gonna have to be an amazingly perfect lap.
I have tried all sorts of settings , all assists off etc , changed tyre pressures but doesn't seem to make any difference on this track.

I had to change the tyre pressures as they were over heating before the end of the lap and slowing me down.

I currently have the tyre pressures set at 35 front 35 rear so a bit more than standard. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing? They seemed a bit low standard.

My friend would like to join in with the weekly comp if allowed.
He is currently with virgin but is seriously considering switching to plusnet soon.
His gamer name is mr squiddy

well been following this thread & got a 360 (arcade) + forza 3 only downside  if you read my last thread (interleaving switched off)
i cut through my left thumb + tendon so the PS3 & MW2 is out the window for some time    but me thinks i can fair better here 
with a good right hand & 4 pinkies sticking out of the steel & straps on the left i have a time off 01:52.456
