Could you do this for me also?
I'm also on Unlimited Fibre (38MB) and opted for the 'Pro Add-on' a couple of days ago as it was advertised to upgrade my service to a top-class prioritised connection, ideal for online gaming.
However, I have noticed no improvement and subsequently came across this post.
Just baffles me why it's an option on a service to which there is no real improvement.
I have since removed the 'Pro Add-on' a few minutes ago and would appreciate a refund as it was a fiver wasted by the sounds of it.

Wait, So I have been paying for Pro Addon for years now and it's completely useless? Isn't that miss-sold considering it states "ideal for online gaming and working from home. " - That's disgraceful.

It depends: if you are on Extra or one of the earlier account types it does have some benefits. If you are on Unlimited it's a waste of money.

That's very interesting. I'm going to look into this. I have Unlimited and have been paying this £5 for a very long time.

When did you change to Unlimited? There was an early Unlimited product sold between 17/02/2009 and 21/10/2009 where the Pro add-on would make a difference. If you went on to Unlimited since December 2012 you've been wasting money.

PN staff & talk of refunds have all gone quiet. Maybe it's because folk who have been wasting £5 a month for years have started to find this thread & want their money back? I must say, if this is an official community forum I'm not holding out much hope of help if I ever have a serious issue. I originally posted over a month ago & the lack of response is poor, very poor...

As it was added and removed within 30 days I've just refunded the pro rata payment. Yours too @Ripperoo.
