Thought I would drop by and just give a ‘heads up’ to anyone thinking of buying Fallout 4 on DVD (retail copy) thinking it will save you downloading the game from Steam.
Sadly it won’t, my copy arrived today and there is just one DVD in the box (unpacks to just over 5GB) and the activation code for Steam.
You then have to activate on Steam and download the rest of the game, around another 20GB of files. On a fast FTTC connection this is no problem but for anyone on ADSL it will take quite some time to download.
