FIFA 13 unacceptable LAG

Been playing FIFA 13 the past few days and the Lag is terrible mostly H2H I'm surprised it's this bad because No one isn't even on the internet apart from me.. Pro Clubs seems laggy but not as Bad as H2H.. it's basically lag spikes/slight delay/freezers not great atall.. i've asked friends & my opponent & They haven't been experiencen nothing like that.   (PS3)

TBH every year EA servers struggle with lag for the first few months..

I've struggled with lag since i joined PN december 2011.. Mostly in H2H it's the worst.. this could be due to my terrible 3.1 mbps.. Not sure but it's annoying!

Thanks james what FIFA 13 details do i need to put into wireshark? or don't i need anything?

You don't need to.
Wireshark will basically look at your connection and see how different types of traffic are picked up on our network to make sure that we are prioritising your traffic on our network, correctly.

The issue here is that he's playing on PS3 and Wireshark will be on his PC, so it won't capture the packets. I've asked one of our traffic management gurus to take a look and see if this is our side causing issues.

Hi,
If you have a TG585 or a TG582 router, you can perform the needed Wireshark packet capturing still. To do this, you will need to ensure your PS3 is connected via Ethernet for a start, ideally direct to the router, along with a PC to do the capture on, direct to the router.
My recommendation is that you do not do any transfers on the connection, even on that LAN during the capture window, due to the data it generates (the volume of).
For simplicity, connect the PS3 to the port labeled 2 and the PC to the port labeled 1.
Next, telnet to the router, which you can do from a command prompt with "telnet 192.168.1.254" then login with "admin" as the username and the routers serial number (in caps) as the password (or whatever custom password you have used if this has been changed).
You can then past the following three lines into the telnet session

:eth switch mirror capture port 1
:eth switch mirror ingress port 2 state enabled 
:eth switch mirror egress port 2 state enabled

This will make all data on port 2 (the PS3) both up and downstream, mirror to port 1. This allows the PC to capture this traffic, but doesn't serve any other purpose.
When you want to disable this mirroring, you can then login to telnet and run the following two commands to stop this.

:eth switch mirror ingress port 2 state disabled
:eth switch mirror egress port 2 state disabled
