Just for anyone who would like to know eve online just got pretty

This is a huge upgrade to the graphics and also performance. But also (and this is the important bit) free expansion. Try out eve online today

i miss eve, i loved it ever since beta, alas i cannot afford to continue my character - well havent done for about 6 month now 😕

CCP have pulled the premium content files from the Trinity update at present cos it has been screwing up lots of users PCs.  Apparently it interferes with the XP system file boot.ini and prevents XP from booting

Haven’t spoken to my sons this morning as they both left early but I know they updated last night and boy does it show on my usage, 2 Gig extra at peak rate and I asked them not to download until after midnight but they couldn’t wait  >:(. It seems the update downloaded in the background while they were logged in testing something else (or that’s their excuse  ;)).

Yep CCP it a booboo on the overnight download and I was too eager to install it.
Fix was simple but now everyone is screaming my PC is screwed. It deleted the boot.ini file. However lucky me I have no partions or different setups so really quick fix
oh well (cleaned up version) bad things happen

prime example of why you should not install things to windows drives, my eve install albeit i dont play anymore is located on a third hard drive

all fixed now! i waited, i was a good boy
i have 3x accounts and it took me a while to get them all running dweet but got there in the end.

Shattered crystal is your friend GTC very cheep , or if you have the time why not mine your butt of for a week to make the isk to buy GTC ingame ? Makes playing free..

not got enough isk left to buy a gtc i think i was short about 75mill for the 3 month gtc
