I'm extremely interested steve but not enough to pre-order it strangely. With Modern Warfare 2, Operation flashpoint, Gran Turismo (at some point) and eyepet on pre-order I think my end of year is full.

I'm tempted, it looks good. Got a few games on pre-order at the moment so might wait for them.

Re: Dirt 2 Released Uk 11/9/2009

I have been waiting for ages for a new game for the xbox 360,and dirt 2 will tide me over till forza motorsport 3,then i want modern warfare 2 and need for speed shift and thats about it for this year i think, still ive been trying the last week to get dirt finished before the new one drops through my letter box but im only half way there, just got my xbox 360 christmas past, tried race pro and thats great with a few glitches though,i downloaded the dirt 2 demo and it is pretty good,i like the way they have done the water/puddles on the track on dirt 2,its a bit more realistic, although driving through one from inside the car just totally blinds me lol,and the windscreen wipers aint fast enough and i end up in a wall  Grin

Remind me not to accept any lifts from you  Tongue
Playing the demo of that game did make me think it looked stunning and it also had a level of difficulty that felt attainable. I struggled to come 1st in the 3 lap race but I knew it was because I hadn't perfected the corners yet and once I had it came down to luck because sometimes the other drivers knock you about silly.

Re: Dirt 2 Released Uk 11/9/2009

am not a huge fan of the DIRTS and i am a huge racing fan.
i guess i like the sims better as race pro, fm ect it takes some serious track time to squeeze every tenth of a second out the track. Where i find my self with the dirt 2 demo a couple of goes and i had perfected the tracks and got bored very easiy as theres no real learning curve in the game for me.
might pick one of your lots copy up cheap form gamestation when your done with it Wink

I'm quite tempted by Dirt 2.
Enjoyed Dirt, although was generally quite rubbish as AD knows Wink

DiRT2 does look pretty good...the demo was fairly fun, but the handling doesn't seem to be as good as it was in the earlier Colin McRae games...

Re: Dirt 2 Released Uk 11/9/2009

Demo was quite good, but for some reason I usually got wasted by someone on the first jump.  Also seemed like everyone else had cars faster off the line than mine.
Much prefered the rally stage over the circuit.  I know it's a way of loading in the background, but the long animated menu system is a tad annoying.

Re: Dirt 2 Released Uk 11/9/2009

They had a 3 lap race and traditional rally staggered start checkpoint race in the demo. I guess there may be more like head to head.
