Did anyone try the new starwars battlefront beta last week ?

Man i loved it and the fact it didnt need battlelog either made it much better for a beta is ran really well for me and the gameplay was smooth as... its deffo on my wishlist

Used to play Battlefield games professionally, gonna pick up Battlefront once released and hopefully it has a somewhat decent competitive scene,  didn't play the beta though, hoping the gameplay is good old DICE gunplay with better hitreg than recent battlefield titles...

BF2 was amazing, easily my favourite BF, closely followed by Bad Company 2.
I played BF2 and 2142 professionally, attended a few iSeries events and went to Dreamhack once(if you ever have a chance to go, please do, amazing experience), played competitive console battlefield as a pilot for BC2/BF3 for the top PS3/360 teams before all competitive died on battlefield PC and console, now the scene is empty it seems, battlefield has a unique feeling to it that other competitive games don't bring, the scale of things just makes it play out so well.
I'm hoping DICE make a return to the BC series soon, but I'm worried it'll just be another re-hash of BF3/4/HL with a different name

battlefield died for me after BF2, man i wish i could go back in time those were great times.

Do you play any of the newer BF games? Could do with some more people to play with. Got tons of US players but no-one on at a reasonable hour

i no longer play bf games now tbh, im kinda messing around in Reign of kings,dayz standalone,gta 5, project cars... im always looking for that one game that will blow my mind but cant find one yet lol

Payday 2 was that for a while, but the recent way overkill is running the game into the ground drove me away, been re-playing LA Noire and some Left 4 dead though
