Devices not connecting eg Minecraft game

Hi, Ive recently been sent a new router, Same as my old one, I have and iphone, ipod, ipad, Samsung tab and android phone all of which could connect/join a game of minecraft ( my son loves it) since I received my new router none of them can join? no options of joining, No settings on any devices have been changed, I rang plusnet ( waiting 30 mins for the phone to be answered) only to be told its not their problem as my wi fi and internet connection are working fine im lost and cant sort it out, help please

do you play minecraft on pc or xbox? i play minecraft on xbox version all i did was enable upnp

Is this a case of your son trying to connect to a game or is your son actually hosting the game?
As ghos7em1 has asked, a little more information would be helpful so we can try to help
