Company of heroes cant connect to online games plz help

Hi all............... hope some one can help
I"ve been playing COH since it came out and have recently been encountering a problem.
When i go and play online 90% of the games in the server list have on pings just a big red X
I have tried turning off my anti virus and firewalls opening  the game ports udp 6112 and 30260
but it still fails to connect
Dont really know what iam doing so ive just reset my router untill some knows that to do
Plz help as my clan is laughing at me

Hello Duke,
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with connecting to games on COH.
Please answer the following questions so that we can diagnose the issue.
Can you confirm what router you are using?
Can you carry out a speedtest at http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk and post the results?
Can you advise the location of the games you are trying to connect to? (if possible)
Do you experience any issues with other games at all?

Hi  ty for helping so fast
ok the router is the thomson TG585 v8
The speedtest was 5332 kbps download and 381 kbps upload
the  games  work on per 2 per and all the players i try to connect to are in the uk
And yes my gaming is ok iam very happy with plusnet most pc and all xbox games  ....apart from joining games that work in this way coh and command and conquer were a play has to host

Hello Duke,
Thanks for getting back to me, Can I ask what Broadband package you are on?
The reason for this - different broadband packages have different traffic management schemes in terms of Peer to Peer - We'd also need to ensure that the game is classified as a game and not showing up as Peer to Peer usage.
For this reason, What we'd need you to do, is carry out a Wireshark capture whilst playing the game and attempting to connect.

Once you have the capture file, You can  upload it to a ticket that you can raise via http://contactus.plus.net
We can then send this to our networks team to confirm that it is being correctly prioritised as a game.

And i am a on plusnet Extra
the wireshark file is now with plusnet support... No 52058519

Just a quick update this is what the Customer Support center said
Our networks team have investigated the capture and everything is showing as correctly prioritised. If you are having issues it would likely be an issue with the servers you are connecting to.
Alternatively, the issue you are describing could lead me to believe that the issue you are suffering is to do with your wireless connection.
ok two things
1, i dont use wireless for gaming
2, all my frineds have no issues with connecting to games on Company of heroes and all i see is a red X and no ping
Also when i ran a port checker it said that port 6112 is closed
Would a fixed ip help ?
So does anyone  know  how to fix this

What we can do, is use this as a guide, but instead use the ports you've specified, 6112 and 30260
