I was really hoping it would be Battlefield 2143, as we've been waiting 10 years now for a sequel to Battlefield 2142, which was the best Battlefield ever!

yes it is early days but the fact the games based around ww1 gets me excited If the game turns out to be a winner then im going to get a 64 player server up asap 😜

The rumours were true! Ww1 could be an excellent back drop and hopefully reduce spray and pray tactics...

On the subject of best BF agree with BF2 closely followed by Bad Company 2

For me, my preference for BF games goes in this order...

1. BF2
2. BF2142
3. BF4
4. BF Bad Company (1 & 2)
5. BF1942
6. BF Vietnam
7. BF Hardline (only played beta)
8. BF Battlefront (only played beta)

I was also hoping for a 2142 remake but this WW1 theme looks absolutely fantastic!

I did enjoy all the BF games , but didnt enjoy 2142 , hardline was just EA cashing in on the BF name , Battlefront Graphics were ace pity game play was poop

I am a very avid gamer @rongtw, I built a pretty beasty rig 8 months ago. I got a huge backlog of Steam games though.

Battlefield is my main game and have played them all since 1942 back in 2002! I agree, Battlefront looks amazing but the gameplay was pretty bad once you got over how good it looks and sounds. Nothing but pew pew die, pew pew die. No tactics, no squads, no server browsers... eurgh...

bf2 was good i agree but my number one game has to be battlefield vietnam, flying a chopper over a hill with wildthing blasting out of my speakers while i drill everthing in sight

Completely agree about battlefront. Such a waste.

The look and sound was exceptional, the game was pretty horrible... I personally would have thought that bad company skinned as star wars would have been perfect. Just the right balance of arcade and realism... But then that wouldn't have tied in with the original battlefront games which in my opinion were better off left... Dice is better than that...

I watched the live stream of gameplay and it looks like it would be fun. Hopefully it does better than Hardline did. I won't be putting any money down yet as I think the price for the full game + season pass is extortionate (I waited almost a year for BF4 and paid £40 in total while all my friends got it launch day at £90).

Livestream was good   the more i see gets me interested but will wait a while see what happens with price .
