BF4: If I delete corrupt save does progress resync from Battlelog?

As per title really. BF4 (PS4) is full of bugs and from reading it seems other platforms are affected too. The SP campaign is unplayable as my progress is invariably not saved. In terms of MP I am unlocking weapons and attachments which then fail to show up on loadouts or when I customise my weapons on the test range. I also get frequent CE-34878-0 errors.
After reading up on the issue it seems I probably have a corrupt save file and the consensus is that deleting the existing save file can fix the problems (at least temporarily). If I do this do I lose all of my unlocks/stats for ever, or are they reinstated if I log back into Battlelog after deleting the save file?
Edit: Fully patched and running 1.76 PS4 update.

I cant say for PS4 , but on PC if you delete files they are replaced , and your stats and unlocks are kept on Battlelog

Exactly what I was hoping although Battlelog itself doesn't always accurately reflect my progress, which could be down to the corrupt save itself. Many thanks rongtw; if this step doesn't work I will apparently need to reinitialise the PS4 and start from scratch which will mean hour upon hour of downloading programs and updates!

Yeah, console peasantry and all   Luckily I still have a PC just for Arma2 so I can pretend to be master race some of the time   still running a lowly HD 5770 though

Went ahead and deleted the saves (there are two 19mb files) from system storage and also the PSN+ cloud storage backup and the game behaved itself until I attempted the SP campaign again, at which point the problems resurfaced. Deleted all 4 files a second time and things have been fine since then. Seems that SP mode is truly broken, at least for me. There are also discrepancies with Battlelog itself; an example would be under the 'reports' section where I am given the option to add scores to the 'favourites' section. This is often not persistent and in the game itself under 'browse server' --> 'history' my most recent servers are not usually listed, making it difficult to add servers to my favourites list.
Thanks for the assistance though rongtw. I am now going to complain to EA about the bugs to see if they throw any free content my way as other users have been getting the Premium package free after suffering similar issues and complaining
