BF3 getting worse

TBH am not sure if its all PN fault , as 90% of the time my game runs well especially on a morning    yesterday i  got 18-0 KD in a chopper  but in the evening it was back to normal negative KD ? but the game didnt seam laggy or slow .
its just weird

Thats the thing though Ron, how will we ever know, that is why I need to go to another ISP so I can say yes it is PN, or I can rule them out, unfortunately I have 5 months left on my contract and PN seem reluctant to tell me how much it will cost to get out of it. I had a game this afternoon and it was better, then I just had a game 10 minutes ago and it was worse. I can't keep up with it. I was getting one shotted with a shotty by someone with a ping of 83. My ping was 40 (usually 13) so I don't know why his game was in sync and mine was all over the place, because my ping had trebled to be more in line with the high pingers. Highest ping in game was 111, so the game shouldn't have been that bad where I couldn't hit anything.

I'd love to blame EA, but I (and some friends) can be experiencing lag and my other friends say it's great. It all seems pretty random apart from the fact it hasn't been great for me for a long time, the only thing that has changed is my ISP. Again, I'm not saying the change is the reason - according to tests and my experience of using my connection now for other things, my connection is better than ever.
@James, all the talk in the forums is/was about lag compensation and how it penalises players with good connections, but I don't think that's what's going on here. They say playing out-of-region gives players a massive advantage, it doesn't work that way for me. They say too many players out-of-region messes up the servers, but one of the worst games was yesterday and every single player was European.
As for switching ISP, I've been looking through the community forums of a few other ISPs and there's a similar FIFA/EA thread in all of them. Some players are finding it unplayable, others say it's great. There doesn't really seem to be a common link between all of us with problems.
One thing I can rule out with certainty is that I'm just being outplayed. I'm a good player, I've played with and against some of the best players (both casual players and the guys that are competitive and play for the top clans.) I can hold my own against anybody, so getting owned by guys with negative KDRs and appalling accuracy is a clear indication something is wrong... I have bullets coming at me before the enemy appears on screen, I can raise my sights at an enemy facing a completely different direction, but they turn and kill me before I can get a shot off.

I know exactly what you mean, and half the time they are reloading and they still manage to kill me.

This is actually beginning to anger me now... it's getting worse. The staff here are great, they respond fast and they try to help, but gaming is impossible. I play to relax, I see friends playing and I look forward to joining them, but once I get on and try to play I just lose my temper. It is completely unplayable, 0 kills and 7 deaths against a terrible player earlier, just can't hit the other players, the game stutters whilst running, aiming, driving. When they shoot at me it is like they are the best players I've ever seen.
I've got good pings, web browsing is instant, I can stream Netflix in super HD without any buffering... gaming = impossible.

WELL  tonite on  pcl-ag05. i have had best nights gaming for ages ,, all rounds +++ KD
has PN hit the gateways with a BIG hammer  but it worked

Sorry for the continual problems guys.  I know it's frustrating, especially when you see someone like rongtw on the same ISP with no issues!  We've got a theory around what might be causing the peak time lifts on the ping graphs and that could possible be influencing gaming performance.  We are hopefully doing a tweak next week which might improve it, not sure.
In the meantime, I'd like to put you guys onto a special service offer which would see all of your traffic going into Gold.  (I.e. not putting gaming into Titanium, or P2P into Bronze) and se eif that has any impact on your performance.
Let me know if you are happy with that.
rongtw:  Can I do the same to you as well so we get a decent comparison?

Albeit with a different game, I sympathise. All my gaming is doing lately is making me angry. Amongst the many peculiarities I am seeing, I had someone shoot me around a corner yesterday, when I was out of line of sight and another jump-kill me through a wall. Pissed me off no end. I also spent most of the day repeatedly trying to get into a match with one friend and we just couldn't connect for a full match. Mind, I think altogether I only got around five full matches.

Hi, Kelly, I can't imagine it'll make things worse so I'm happy for you to try it.

Yeah, I will give it a go Kelly, also mate, could you check my disconnection graph please, according to my stats, I have had about 7 or 8 in the last 3 days. It seems the exchange resets my router, then something is not happy, so I keep getting peer terminates (disconnections) until it is happy.
