And the winner is...

As you may know, PlusNet are a strong advocate of Open Source Software, so it's great to see some of the biggest projects getting recognition.  SourceForge recently announced the winners of its Oscars equivalent for OSS.  The winner of overall best project went to 7-Zip, but with a strong tail behind it, including:
- Audacity as best project for multimedia
- Azureus as most collaborative project
- phpBB as best project for communications
- phpMyAdmin as best tool or utility for system administrators;
- ScummVM as best project for gamers;
- TortoiseSVN for best tool or utility for developers.

PlusNet continue to use many of these award winning software systems so it's great to see these getting the recognition that we also feel they deserve.  Thumbs up to all the collaborators on these projects 🙂

phpBB? Hmm...

Just like the M25 is the world's favourite motorway: it's used more people than any other - and BA is the world's favourite airline.
