Xbox Live

I have an Xbox 360 that I connect to my PC with an ethernet cable, and my pc then connects to my router through wireless. I get MTU failures everytime I try to connect to Xbox Live. One of my neighbours has wireless and I can use Live if I use their connection. I have changed my router to see if that is the problem but still no Live. I have changed my MTU to 1432/1478/1500 but still have no connection. Anyhelp would be great.

Xbox Live

I'm not totally sure as I am a Mac user.

There's a bit of info here:

Sounds like you might need a crossover cable?

If you can afford it, the 360 Wireless Adapter is pretty good and has made life easier for me, connecting to the router with no major probs. Alternatively a wireless ethernet bridge/gaming adapter will do the job too and be cheaper.

Hope it helps.

Seconded, it must be a crossover cable to link between your Xbox and PC, I had the same problem myself.
