PC Gaming Nvidia settings

Please could some one answer the following. Is it OK to have vertical sync and triple buffering active for gaming at the same time.

I have a pny verto 6600gt 128mb graphics card I am trying to eliminate ghosting in pes5 of all games.

Ghosting is caused by the lower specification TFT flat panel monitors not the graphics card. If you have a TFT with a response time over 12ms you start to see these ghosting problems.

Vertical Sync stops the screen tearing effect you sometimes see in certain games.

Triple buffer smooths out graphics by rendering frames ahead of time.

Monitor cables being damaged can cause blur/ghost effect occasionaly! But you would probably see this in apps and docs as well as games if it were the cable.
Worth checking if you have a spare lying around. (Depending on wether or not your monitor has an integrated cable or not of course).
