Game Pings

I was a little concerned when I read about slow connections etc. Well so far I have been averaging between 50 and 150 depending on the server. And that's the same as mates on BT, Freeserve.
So far very impressed with connection speeds!

you can get better pings by tweaking the game settings, say for UT or UT2003 set you Netspeed too:

6000 on a busy/laggy server
8000 on a fastish infrequent lag server
10000 on very good server

20000 ONLY for lans

This is somthing I was not aware of. Does this work on MOH:AA too?

Myself, and my farther use MOH online, but I find that it can somtimes be choppy, when my farther has a download in progress, even if it is only downloading at a rate on 4KB/s.

I am unsure of what my current setting is, but I will look into that tonight.

Would this allow for better connection performance then?
