Re: World Leading FTTP

You were on PTW-AG01 until about 3.30pm today which was suffering from some performance issues.  Hopefully it's performing better now you've reconnected!

Re: World Leading FTTP

@Chris
Yes, the fault call has been logged since 5 December 2013 and is an open ticket. [mremoved] is the main protagonist.
@Kelly
[mremoved] asked me to power cycle the ONT and router which happened around 15:30 as soon as I had the text from him.
Speed is higher but not counting any chickens

Re: World Leading FTTP

I read this post, then saw the thread describing your exchange issues.  It's likely you were suffering from both earlier today.

Re: World Leading FTTP

Download line speed has gone up to 76Mbps by this morning.
Hopefully it stays this way. It will take a few weeks to prove it as the issue has been re-appearing at any time up to 2 weeks after regaining full speed.

Re: World Leading FTTP

BTW speedtest is now reading 0.00 Mbps. Cannot run either thinkbroadband or speedtest.net as not enough speed to get the testers on the page.
Also effecting BT Retails users in MK7 Walnut Tree too.
Updated the support ticket at 22:59  but the page has not finished reloading with the new details. The Firefox loading icon is still spinning after 5 minutes!

Re: World Leading FTTP

Speed tests are nearly back to normal this morning across all 3 speed test providers(80/20 link).
It is 10 weeks tomorrow since this issue started and we are no closer to a solution.

BTW 78.01Mbps

Re: World Leading FTTP

Really rubbish speed!!
Download speedachieved during the test was - 0.44 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 40 Mbps-87.77 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 87.77 Mbps
Cannot load the Thinkbroadband speedtest as link is too slow.
Cannot run speedtest.net test against the Milton Keynes server (Uno) again as link too slow.
Now over 12 weeks since this issue started.
