Updated cabinet

So just had our cabinet updated for FTTP and WBC is now available. Does anyone know availability of the trial and current costs for it, as I believe there will be a reprice in Feb 2018?

Cheers

David

Re: Updated cabinet

Do the results say "WBC FTTP" in the left hand column? Post a picture if you can.

The picture came through as a txt file with no detail.

Just to be clear if you have "WBC FTTP" is the left hand column there should be a further column headed "FTTP Install Process" which will have "1 stage" or "2 stage" in it - one visit or two.

Re: Updated cabinet

That is FTTP on Demand, a very expensive product which PN don't provide.

It is very unusual to be able to get FTTP if you can get FTTC.

Re: Updated cabinet

The pdf shows you have FTTP on Demand available (left hand column), a service not offered by Plusnet due to the very high costs involved.

Mustrum got in first.

As other's have pointed out you can't get FTTP. You can get FTTC (VDSL) and looking at the speeds shown on the DSL Checker you should get a very good service. PlusNet offer 38/10 or 78/20 I believe.

Login to PlusNet and follow the upgrade links if you wish to change - or you could try phoning them (I gather calls to their Sales team get answered far more quickly than Support calls!!!).

Re: Updated cabinet

yes - as I discovered it costs ££££'s and PN don't offer it .

We all have to wait until the lower cost standard FTTP roll out. Sometime never!

Re: Updated cabinet

Hi David. Unfortunately, as others have advised there's just FTTP On Demand that's available. Due to the very high costs of the install, this isn't something we'd offer I'm afraid. Apologies for any disappointment caused.
