Static IP

The FAQ says that if you're on a static address with ADSL then you'll have a static on FTTC.  The question is, is it the same static address or will it change when they switch you to the new service?

Re: Static IP

my static IP has not changed from ADSL to FTTC.
afaik, it won't change (or shouldn't) because it's what the plus.net servers allocate you when you connect/authenticate your connection rather than the 'route' it takes

Re: Static IP

That's what I'd guessed.  I was looking for some official confirmation.
Good to hear that your's didn't change though.

Re: Static IP

Indeed,
Your static IP will be assigned to you, as your connection terminates in our network as normal.
