Router is blue, i log into it it says connected etc gives an IP everything but no access, if i use manual details its not longer blue, read on here it needs to be manually activated? can someone help
Is this a new connection?
yeah new fttp connection clearly activated since it turned blue and gave an ip etc just doesnt connect to actual internet
The ONT cable is connected to the red WAN port?
yes of course the router light is blue the status is connected i am being given an IP etc its all working fine but being denied access to the internet like its not been activated on plusnets side or something
Exactly what message is displayed when you can't access the internet?
silly question because you have properly all ready done it, but have you turned it off and on again?
Was this a new install with an engineer, if yes, they should test that it is working and you can browse pages.
If a 'take over' it may be that OR/BT need to update the records to allow your username access on that 'node'
just an activation

Looking at the Hubs Advanced settings >Broadband, what is the broadband username?
It needs to be your account name as used to login into the members centre in this format youraccountname@plusdsl.net
If it is setup@plus.net that might explain the Blue light and no internet access.
If that doesn't work it could be worth trying a factory reset of the Hub to see if that kicks the connection into life.
Using a paper clip or similar push and hold the reset factory reset button in for around 25 seconds or until the light goes out.

yeah thats the thing, i clearly have internet coming down my line as it populates the ip etc from the setup username, if i use my own details they dont work as they havent been activated yet it seems so i wondered if someone can do that for me since thats all thats left to be done
even the bt wholesale checker has now been updated to show ONT exists with active service instead of no service so its all on i just dont have access

@bradhughes Hi, it looks like it's connected now so all is well. Is it working from your side too?
