Raise an ORDI.

Please raise an ORDI (Openreach Data Integrity) address check for my property.
My ONT is installed and receiving optical light — LOS is off — but PON is flashing because the ONT cannot authenticate.
This indicates the fibre is physically present but the Openreach records for my UPRN are incorrect or incomplete.
I need the address and UPRN revalidated and re-matched to the existing fibre build so WBC FTTP shows as available.
Please escalate this to Openreach’s Address Matching Team.

Re: Raise an ORDI.

@SabreZel Are  you a telecoms engineer? When was your ONT installed, and did the installer check you had a signal before they left?

If you have had an installation, then the OR records are correct, otherwise they would have said at the order placement attempt that you couldn’t get FTTP.

Re: Raise an ORDI.

Hi John,

We bought the house 2 months ago. The previous owners were using full fibre with another provider as I understand it. Our fibre box indicates that there is fibre available, but Openzone doesn’t recognise our address as having fibre. The estate we live on is quite new and I imagine fibre was installed shortly after the house was built.

Re: Raise an ORDI.

@SabreZel Do you have an account with an ISP? Can you post the full result from this page, obscuring

your address?

Are you sure the previous fibre connection was an Openreach one and not an altnet ?

Re: Raise an ORDI.

The ONT should be identified to the network provider?

Do you know who the other provider was?

To give a bit more detail to @MisterW 's reply. It may be that this is an ONT belonging to an alternative supplier. Unlike the old system, where alternative suppliers used the same single copper connection to the property, Altnet full fibre networks are totally independent. Consequently, an Altnet's ONT cannot be used by any ISP that is locked to the Openreach fibre network.

I believe the previous ISP was YouFibre.

Re: Raise an ORDI.

YouFibre are an Altnet.

Put in the postcode in their website and see what you get.

https://www.youfibre.com/
Was a member for years, but moved from PN fttc to fttp from an AltNet. Getting 940Mb up and down. Happy to stay on here and try to help others. 

In that case, the connection to them could be restarted, most likely, but as we haven't seen the result of the check i asked for in post #4, we don't know if Openreach (and therefore Plusnet) are available.
