That’s probably the end of the Openreach path (assuming you can’t place a copper order).

Does anyone else (perhaps Virgin Media) serve the area?

Otherwise you need to achieve what you want with onne connection.

Re: Possible to get a 2nd FTTP line?

@DanChief114  Once again you have been told a load of rubbish from TalkTalk. I did say you need to talk to one of the more niche providers who may know how to arrange what you want. So far you not been told anything near the truth.

In the ThinkBroadband forum there is one member who had at one time 3 FTTP services on a single 4 port ONT. Possibly now down to 2. There others with multiple single port ONTs supplied by Openreach.

Have a look at this thread from a few months ago .... https://forums.thinkbroadband.com/fibre/f/4725144-two-fttp-connections-different-suppliers.html?vc=1

In this thread Zarjaz who is known to be an Openreach engineer states that multiple Openreach supplied FTTP can be provided by either the new 4 port ONTS which are still a bit rare apparently or by multiple single port ONTS provided there are spare CBTs available.

So it can be done, it just needs a supplier who has the knowledge to provide it.

Re: Possible to get a 2nd FTTP line?

Hi, tried everything.. Contacted a lot of providers and they all say the exact same thing, There are more than enough spots left on the CBT as i am the only current customer on FTTP

I wish there was a way to just order a new Multi port ONT, talking to some of these sales teams is just annoying as none of them even understand there job at all, Not even a single person knew what a multi port ONT was and was adamant that openreach only supply one fibre drop cable to the property and no current way to upgrade to a multiport

So i guess it's over then, Because he tried to activate the old BT copper line i have that is now dead (moved to fibre) and even plusnet told us that copper is no longer being sold and the only way to get internet is through a fibre connection & they do not install a second line in one house, kind of crazy.. I currently have two active ISP's Sky(copper) & BT(FTTP) i'm wondering what will happen once the contract ends with Sky, Will they refuse to install a second line or just give an ultimatum of taking over the existing line or terminating the service.
