Plusnet fibre audio stuttering when streaming

Wired connection from router through 1 Gbps switch to TV (and other devices) on a 500 Mbps package. This identical setup was not a problem with Sky on FTTC @ ~80 Mbps. Simply connect Ethernet cable to LAN port 3 on the Plusnet Hub 2 router. The audio when streaming both TNT and Premier Sports (via Prime app) is atrocious. Every few seconds there's stuttering. It's almost like the commentators are doing their very best impression of Freddie Starr (those of a certain age will know what I mean).
For the record, the TV (running both apps on TV) is a Sony XR55A80 with ARC (not eARC) output to a fairly old Yamaha RX-V675 receiver via HDMI.
I could probably get to the bottom of this but wondered if anyone else has seen this with Plusnet and can advise. Literally no change in the setup apart from moving to FTTP with Plusnet and Hub 2 instead of FTTC with Sky and their router.
I will test with the receiver switched off in due course so was just wondering. I'm looking at something in the TV initially

This is jolly odd.
The TV is cabled so the most likely issue (WiFi) isn't there.
I assume the TV has an inbuilt app for the streaming service (Prime).
Does it offer anything like iPlayer as well and how does that work?
One thing I might change on the TV is any IPv6 settings. Sky supports IPv6 (I believe) and Plusnet doesn't so if IPv6 can be disabled it is worth a try.
What is the audio like on the TV?
I use an Apple TV box on Plusnet's 145Mb/s service for iPlayer and similar and it's fine.
