Plusnet Full Fibre

Has the forum jumped the gun, I see no Full Fibre Product on the website.🤔

However this looks interesting  ....... Plusnet Full Fibre Installation

Shame I can't get FTTP ☹️

@RealAleMadrid

As well as the 'Fibre To The Premises trial' board being renamed (today AFAIK) and the video you've found, perhaps there is some substance to this post from @goldenfibre which I had my doubts about.

There is also this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pi61XZrE1aU "First time setup of your Full Fibre Broadband - Plusnet Help" posted today too.

Guess the cat is out of the bag, just need pricing now especially for people like me on the defunct trial as we want to know what happens to us.

@SpendLessTime

If we're lucky PlusNet will leave us in peace on our current setup - unless we want to upgrade.

Re: Plusnet Full Fibre

Hope so but doubt it.

BTW The legal page has an update for "Other Charges for Full Fibre service" but nothing on the actual product yet.

The forum has not jumped the gun.

Plusnet now offer FTTP (subject to network coverage)

Right now though, you can only order this product over the phone, we're working on updating the webpage to enable self-service, but right now I can't share a timescale with you.

Re: Plusnet Full Fibre

@JonoH  Well how would anyone know a FTTP product was available? Just call up on the off chance and say can I have FTTP. I still think the change to the forum boards was somewhat premature. Anyway pleased that Plusnet have at last got their act together, will be interesting to see what they intend to do with phone provision.

Any info for those of us on the defunct trial? Or will we get an email explaining what is happening to this small group?

for now it will be offered to customers who call to renew who live in areas where it's available.

As for the forum change being premature, I'd argue that it's better to be prepared for the inevitable customer service requests and discussions than have them clutter other boards.

Waiting until something becomes a problem before acting is something that these boards normally tell us they dislike Wink

@SpendLessTime  Nothing that I've heard yet.

Re: Plusnet Full Fibre

@dvorak I enjoy not being in contract, plus I hate phone calls.  So calling in isn't happening here. Given the list price for out of contract is known and I know what I pay now for my trial "Full 74", I can compare with other providers.

If anyone does call to upgrade an existing FTTP trial service, feel free to drop me a PM and I'll keep an eye on it. Smiley

Re: Plusnet Full Fibre

At least now if, god forbid, I get a problem, the telephone support will know what I'm talking about so there is an upside straight  away.
