Re: New customer looking for FTTP

You have to be an existing customer on ADSL or possibly FTTC before you can apply for the FTTP trial assuming WBC FTTP is available at your location, when you say you are a new customer have you actually joined PlusNet or are you looking to join?

There is no way to go directly onto the FTTP trial.

Re: New customer looking for FTTP

What does the DSL Checker say for your phone line.

http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome

It must have "WBC FTTP" in the LEFT HAND column and there will be a further column which has "1 stage" or "2 stage" listed.

Re: New customer looking for FTTP

Yes, but is it "WBC FTTP" or "FTTP on Demand" - if the latter then PlusNet don't offer a product (plus it's a very expensive option anyway).

Post a screen image of the DSL Checker results if you can.

Re: New customer looking for FTTP

Have you raised a request to go on the trial using the link from here: https://portal.plus.net/wizard/index.html?wizard_id=20

Re: New customer looking for FTTP

Why did you say you were a new customer?  That rather confused the issue. Just use the link given by Jelv to apply for the FTTP trial. If FTTP is available that should start the process. Phoning customer support is not likely to help, as it is a trial and not part of the usual provisioning systems so very few staff will know about it. As for getting a response from an engineer, don't know who told you that but it's very unlikely to happen at this stage.Wink

Re: New customer looking for FTTP

Hi there. Welcome to the community forums.

It looks like you've raised an FTTP ticket with us and we've got your appointment for an engineers visit booked in for the 12th February AM. Please feel free to let us know if there are any issues at all.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
