LOS red light on ONT - Leyland

Hi
My broadband has dropped this evening. It seems that my router can’t get a connection. The LOS light is also on the ONT.
I’m on the phone to customer service now however generally I don’t get anywhere with FTTP connections.
Anyone suggest any solutions?

If you have a newer style (all in one) ONT then there is a pin hole reset on the left hand side of the unit.

Plusnet advising it’s a major service outage in my area (on Openreachs network).
Should be fixed by 1800 tomorrow 😳

If it's an MSO why is nothing showing on the service status page?

Something deep in the dark recess of my mind tells me this page is for PlusNet systems, not the OpenReach network.

If it's a FTTP network outage then there may be little information available to PlusNet as opposed to a normal copper system outage.

There was enough information available to them to identify an MSO in the OP's area and an expected fix time!
