Issue installing my full fibre - timescales?

Hello. I had full fibre installation booked for today. It was a 'trusted partner' of Open Reach that came and he immediately told me that he could not install as apparently fibre in my street is at the back and from overhead cables, and he'd need scaffolding to do the job.

I've already been reading through the forum and so did a property search. I can see I am in a FTTP priority area and FTTP install process is 1 stage but it also says 'Single Dwelling Unit Residential OH Feed alternate L2C solution required', so not sure why a 'normal' engineer was even sent in the first place as clearly there was always going to be a need for a specialist install.

I've already been waiting for weeks for broadband (I switched from another provider to PlusNet as they weren't even giving me an installation date and I urgently need connectivity) and the unknown extra time is triggering my anxiety disorder.

It would therefore be helpful to know if anyone else has been through this and, if so, how long it took.

@Mouse25 Sadly, when you are an 'odd' case as you are, the system can get confused. All I can do is point a PN staffer in your direction - @Christopher_G  can you or one of your colleagues help here?
