Milton Keynes Exhange (SMBT).
Says here it's accepting orders: http://www.openreach-communications.co.uk/superfast/where-and-when/default.htm
Checker says not available until June
Plusnet say will be ready on 16th April: "Great news! Plusnet Fibre will be available in these exchange areas from 19th April 2011"....... included Milton Keynes.
How the heck are we supposed to be able to work out what's going on!?

The documents at that link, and the "exchange-level" information is just that - exchange-level.
To get FTTC service, your cabinet needs to be enabled as well as the exchange.
But BT can go live with an exchange when only some of the cabinets are ready, and will publicise the exchange as ready. However, some cabinets will still be left behind; some of these are because there were faults in the original install (my cabinet was like this, 4 months behind the rest); some get installed in a later batch, and some will just never be upgraded.
There is a figure floating around - that an average of 85% of customers in FTTC-enabled exchanges will actually be able to get the service. I've no idea about how reliable that is.
So... to find out whether/when *your* line will get enabled, you have to go by the checker, and put your phone number in (not address or postcode).
