IPTV service has stopped working

It still works on my tablet if I only use my Giffgaff mobile data but no dice on my android box using my Plusnet internet so I guess it's been blocked? Could a Plusnet employee maybe look into this please as I'm not hanging around with Plusnet if it's no use for IPTV. Thanks.

I would have expected that Italian Now TV would not work with a UK IP. I'm surprised that it works on Giffgaff.

One thought, do you have Plusnet Safeguard enabled ?

Google says that NOW TV Italia is geo-restricted, and therefore blocked outside Italy (without using a VPN)

I'm wondering if @polentone normally uses a VPN on their Plusnet broadband (to appear to be located in Italy) ?,  and maybe that VPN has lost connection, as it is not unknown for the Plusnet Member Centre firewall to randomly block VPNs if the firewall setting changes from "Off" or "Low" to a higher level of port blocking.  Sometimes the firewall unexpectedly changes level setting coincident with an otherwise unrelated account update (that has certainly happened to me at least three times).

No. Switched off. I use a VPN with location set to Italy.

Is there anyway of switching that Firewall off to check if that's the problem?

@polentone if you are a new Plusnet user then you won't have the firewall facility anyway. 

Is your VPN connected ?

Check your public IP using https://www.whatsmyip.org/
