Hub Two delivery

Hi there.

I’m upgrading to full fibre from plusnet broadband. There is still no sign of the router in the post, which was 2/3 working days. The engineer appointment is next friday (1st) is it slow Royal Mail, a courier or plusnet not dispatching quickly?

fwiw, have you checked for open/closed tickets?


I seem to recall when I requested a new Hub Two on Friday 1st April.  Closed ticket quoted order placed several hours later in the evening.   

In very early hours of Tuesday 5th April, another closed ticket stated  'A router has been created'.

I can't recall when the hub arrived.  It would have been Thursday, Friday or Saturday, I can't remember.  Delivered by Royal Mail.

If I recall from my recent install the Hub 2 arrived on the Thursday or Friday before a Monday install, so it was pretty last minute. I also got a text from Plusnet on the Wednesday before to say it had been ordered, even though I thought  I'd ordered it 2 weeks before so I was wondering if it was coming myself  Smiley

PlusNet use a "just in time" delivery system rather than dispatch when an order is placed. Doesn't always work!!!

Hi there,

I can see we've put your new Hub Two in the post last night, so all being well you should get it today or tomorrow. 

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
