Fibre nodes - what do they look like?

Sorry for the slightly noob question, just curious how I'd go about ID'ing my nearest Fibre node?

Only BT know where they are (and they don't publish their locations).

I believe so (and this applies also for areas with overhead fibre).
They are fairly integral parts for BT's fibre networks so I can understand why they don't publish their locations.
Are you trying to work out which cost bracket you're in for FTTPoD?
