Fibre has come loose from connection box

Hi Everyone

Our external connection box has been damaged.

Its the one where the fibre comes down from the pole and down the side of the house and connects to the fibre that goes round to the back of the house and into the modem.

At the moment, one of the fibres is dangling down, without any outer covering, just a thin blue fibre exposed.

the connection is still working, but is there anything I or Plusnet can do to repair it before it gets caught and snaps?

thanks

Richard

@gunsmoke2

PlusNet will be able to OpenReach to come out and fix it. You need someone like @Gandalf  to reply.

If you consider it a safety issue you can report it direct to OpenReach yourself.

Pic of the fibre box

@Gandalf , is this something you can contact Openreach for, or is it something I need to call them for?

It's not a safety issue

Thanks

Richard

Re: Fibre has come loose from connection box

Hi  Richard, I can arrange an engineer to take a look at that for you.

Could you drop me a reply to the ticket I've logged on your account Here with when you'll be available for an engineer visit?

I'll then book them in for you.
