FTTPoD - still dead?

Hi guys
Just wondering if teh deployment of FTTPoD is still "on hold" or dead or whatever OR want to call it these days?
It's listed as available at my place, I live 20 yeards from the cab and it's SO sad that I can't throw money at anyone to have it installed... Wink
Any news?

I'm not sure if it's ever going to come back in honesty. It's expensive, and an absolute nightmare to provision.

Well, it'll have to come eventually.
There's only so much squeezing bandwidth out of copper cable that can be done.
The sooner copper dies, the better, I say... Wink

Re: FTTPoD - still dead?

FTTP will eventually take over copper.
FTTPoD most likely won't be making a reappearance though, ever. It really wasn't a very cost effective delivery method from what I understand
