FTTP trial

Hi there,

Ive been told i can get FTTP in my area. My postcode is TD15 1UL.

What would it take to confirm this and to make it happen as i am really suffering with the internet at the moment to my property?

Kind regards

Hi Jack!

Welcome to the forums, thanks for popping by, just wanted to pop you some confirmation in here as your postcode doesn't show FTTP as available(some addresses in your area cannot receive the service) however your phone number and address do show this as available to you.

You should see one of my colleagues get back to you at some point today in regards to the next steps however If you want to know anything in particular about the service let us know!

Re: FTTP trial

Hi Jack.

I'd head over to http://trials.plus.net providing the requested information and we'll be happy to place an FTTP order for you.

Drop us a reply back here once you've done that and we'll pick it up.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

@jack_crawford91

Login to PlusNet and follow the link provided by Gandalf to join the Trial.

The request creates a support ticket which you can view in your Members page in the Help & Support section under "View My Questions" - keep an eye on this as you need to respond to any questions asked.

Due to the fact it's a trial the FTTP product is not integrated into the PlusNet back office systems. Generally speaking phone or live chat staff know little if anything about FTTP. This forum is the best place for support.

You cannot get PlusNet TV but you can get the BT Sport app if so desired.

Finally, you need to be in when FTTP is installed as an Optical Network Terminator (ONT) needs to be fitted to a wall near a power source (usually near the phone line entry).

Re: FTTP trial

Hi Jack.

It looks like you received a response yesterday afternoon, but as you've already provided the required details prior to that response I've gone ahead and placed your FTTP order. We'll confirm your appointment date within the next 24 to 72 hours.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
