[FTTP] enabled and 2 day installation complete
As well as trialling FTTP I went for the 2 day trial installation which turned out to be the best choice.
I had the exterior works done on Wednesday and the interior completed this afternoon. The first thing the engineer said on Wednesday was that it was going to be a very straightforward job. Unfortunately he had a lot of problems outside even though the footway box is nearer to my telephone box than my front door. He started just after 9am and completed at 5:25pm!
The interior works today went a lot smoother, the engineer arrived at 2pm and left at 3:30pm.
My only problem now is to get a longer ethernet cable because my laptop only has Wireless G - a job for the weekend.
