Re: FTTP customer service activation nightmare

Hi Phil. I've placed an ADSL order on your phone line as a temporary measure.

I'll be in touch shortly with the expected completion date.

I'm also grabbing an update from our suppliers with regards to the FTTP fault.

I'll update this ticket when I know more.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: FTTP customer service activation nightmare

Thanks for waiting.

Our suppliers have advised that your fault report didn't progress to an engineer, because it's stuck within the Openreach systems. They've raised a task internally to investigate this, which can take up to 5 working days or more in some cases.

We've been asked to check back on or after the 11th April. Our faults team will update you when we have more info.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Re: FTTP customer service activation nightmare

Good Morning,

On getting home last night the fibre was full blue light and working. So it looks like any issues in the Matrix have now been fixed! Thank you very much for all your help on here. I feel i would still be going in circles otherwise!

The ADSL can now be switch back off also as Ive now unplugged this.

Regards

Phil

Re: FTTP customer service activation nightmare

Hi Phil.

Glad to hear your FTTP service is now working. It looks like this was fixed remotely by our suppliers. I've placed a request to cease your ADSL service which should happen on Monday. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
