Hello,
I have two accounts with plusnet - well actually one is in my mothers name at her house, I've just checked the line and got this
Featured Products
Downstream Line Rate(Mbps)
Upstream Line Rate(Mbps)
Downstream Range(Mbps)
Availability Date
High Low High Low
FTTC Range A (Clean) 77.5 59.1 20 18.6 -- Available
FTTC Range B (Impacted) 66.8 38.1 20 13.3 -- Available
WBC ADSL 2+ Up to 14.5 -- 12.5 to 16 Available
WBC ADSL 2+ Annex M Up to 14.5 Up to 1.5 12.5 to 16 Available
ADSL Max Up to 8 -- 7 to 8 Available
WBC Fixed Rate 2 -- -- Available
Fixed Rate 2 -- -- Available
Other Offerings
FTTP on Demand 330 30 -- Available

Is that saying that FTTP is available? She lives in Truro, the nearest I've seen trials at was St Agnes which isn't far away at all.
Thanks,
Ben.

It's saying that FTTP on Demand is available, this isn't the same as the FTTP product that's used for the trial.
I've yet to see anyone marketing FTTP on Demand as a product and it will be v. expensive!
Wholesale (not retail) service prices here:
http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/products/pricing/loadProductPriceDetails.do?data=0WyIM7tTGGgucF...
Retail will be this plus VAT plus ISP bandwidth/server costs plus profit margin etc...

Does your phone line connect to the phone cabinet that FTTC cabinet connects to? And if so is the FTTC cabinet ready for service yet?
Does entering your phone number in the BT Broadband Availability checker say that FTTC is available to you?

I think WBA is Wholesale Broadband Access and DSL is Digital Subscriber Line. I wonder if this means the cabinet belongs to a provider other than BT?

Well according to Plusnet, I should be able to get Fiber by early February, depends how much it is though cos Dad's got a cob on about me spending money and he thinks the only reason I want Fiber is because he's got it.
