FTTP Fault

Red LOS light on the modem.

Done the obvious, power cycled the modem, checked the incoming fibre connection was plugged into the modem ok.

Still nothing. On the phone to faults but they might not know much about FTTP...

Could you provide some assistance please?

Re: FTTP Fault

Engineer has been booked but I have a feeling it's a copper wire engineer not fibre.

Could you have a look to see if we will be getting the correct engineer please?

Re: FTTP Fault

Hey Jake.

Sorry to hear your FTTP service has stopped working

I'm not in the office at the moment so I can't grab your account details to check things, but if you could PM me your service ID [shown at the top of every invoice here] and your postcode, I should be able to take a look.

Cheers,

Anoush

Re: FTTP Fault

Thanks for the details, I've found your service in our suppliers systems.

It's good news, there's no line engineer booked. Thumbs_Up

It's been raised as a broadband fault; the engineer is booked and confirmed with Openreach for the 27th PM?

Re: FTTP Fault

As long as I'm getting the correct engineer, that's great.

Thanks for taking a look Smiley

Re: FTTP Fault

Sorry to bother you guys again.

Could you cancel the engineer?

Everything appears to have been working fine since just after 7pm last night.

Yesterday and today there have been multiple Openreach vans in the area, so they may have fixed it.
