FTTC just fitted , download speed "capped"?

Just had the BT chaps install the FTTC.
Their line checker showed download capability to 40 Mb/s
I am currently getting a very consistent 5.6 Mb/s or so.  Upload speed is 6-7 Mb/s
Does plusnet need to change something their end?

Try again now. If your line hasn't just disconnected/reconnected, then you may need to do this yourself.
