FTTC installed Friday 18March Download speed 5000 Kbps

Install lunchtime Friday  Upload speed around 8000 Kbps Download 5000 Kbps Waited 48 hours as per instructions. Posted problems on ticket 39974813
Brief  spell of high speed this morning but now back to under 5000 Kbps  Awaiting help

Plusnet have probably not changed your profile yet. https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed should say 37Mb line speed. If not, give support a ring and explain you are a new FTTC user and need the profile changing..

Phoned customer services this morning and after relaying your advice was promised investigation of problem. Shortly afterwards received an email giving info about my new profile and action to follow if required. The  download speed is now 33313 Kbps  My thanks to Ben for dealing with my phone call and the prompt action that followed. It is just a pity that the necessary action is not built in to the ticket system but then this is a trial to learn how the system works and can be improved
