HI just had FTTC installed, upload speed and pings immediately improved but download is the same - about 700K.
I understand that the line will need reprofiling and this can up to 2 days is that an automatic process?
Also, the BT guy sadi this is the first Plus net install he had done, does that mean that the BT modem may not be configured necessarily for a plus net customer? I saw something in the help notes aboyut manual config of the BT modem and to add the ISP plusnet in there somewhere.
I'm not going that route unless advised to do so, its only been a couple of hours since the install after all.
