Change to unlimited package

Hi I am currently on a 250gb limited package and wanted to understand what I need to do to change to the unlimited package.  Also what affect will this have on costs and speed as I am currently on the 330/30 trial?

Re: Change to unlimited package

Hi @digitalfixer

As per https://community.plus.net/t5/Fibre-To-The-Premises-trial/FTTP-product-change-question/m-p/1328204#M...

The 330/30 is legacy now, unfortunately. You'd have to take the drop in profile speeds.

You would only be able to buy the 80/20 or 40/2 as that is all Plusnet currently sell.

If you don't have phone line rental with Plusnet then the prices are https://www.plus.net/home-broadband/broadband-only/

Otherwise the prices would be £2.50 a month lower for the FTTP Unlimited Fibre or Unlimited Fibre Extra and then add on the phone line rental.

Re: Change to unlimited package

Thanks, just wanted to check that was still the case.

So what do I need to do to switch to the unlimited extra package? Do I need to raise a ticket or can we do it via the forum?

Re: Change to unlimited package

Given it's still a trial, I would PM one of the staff say @HarryB or @Darkfire and ask for assistance

Re: Change to unlimited package

Would you prefer the 40/2 or the 80/20? £17.49 and £22.49 respectively.

Re: Change to unlimited package

Hi Matty, the 80/20 option, which I think is the same price as I am paying currently for the 250gb package on the 330/30 trial.

Re: Change to unlimited package

Hi I wondered if anyone else at PlusNet was able to progress my request to change to the unlimited product as I have been waiting best part of two months to move to the unlimited product from my current 250gb product.  Currently have the 330/30 line speed but starting to download more since acquiring a new TV and the 250gb is a limitation now.  Happy to come down to the 80/20 product as the price is the same as I pay now but will mean I don't need to watch what I down load or try to download overnight

Re: Change to unlimited package

I'm so sorry that this took as long as it did to pick up. I have gotten the package updated now to reflect unlimited with immediate effect. Let me know if there's any problems and I'll pick them up (quicker).
