So the moral of that story is, if you are moving house and setting up a new line/broadband account, you need to do this a minimum of 10 working days in advance. I am sure this information would be extremely useful to a number of customers, it's odd that this isn't pointed out anywhere.

Our moving home guide here advises we'd need around 2-3 weeks notice.
