Can I carry on using my Time Capsule as a PPPoE client during the 80/20 trial?

There shouldn't be any reason why not.

Well, first impressions are very good.
Getting approximately 65/12 speeds. Seems very reliable and the Time Capsule is managing to establish a PPPoE connection just like before.
So far, then, a big thumbs up

I've just joined the trial and I'm using the Apple Extreme base station with 'n' wireless enabled.
Through the wired ports I'm seeing 66/16 but via the wireless connections I'm getting around 22/16.
I've checked the connection speed of the wireless speed from the iMac and MBP and they both say they are connected at 130Mbps.
Seems odd, and I was wondering if anyone else had seen this?
Thanks, Sean.

remember that the 130 is both ways without overheads, so 22/16 is probably not too far out.
What did you get before the trial?

I don't think I looked that closely before the trial!
Anyway, the ZyXEL from PlusNet just arrived so I'll give that a blast later and see if it makes any difference.
Interesting though that we are now constricted by the wireless speed and not the broadband anymore!

OK. Results are in.
Speed is now 28/16, so a gain of 6Mbs.
Is it worth it? Not sure.

Wireless Ethernet is the work of the devil. I've got Cat6 all over my house. Anything that's bandwidth intensive get's done over Gigabit ethernet
