80/20 Trial Speeds

I've just upgraded from my Fibre Extra package to the 80/20 Trial.  Current speeds from this morning are shown below.  Although the upload speed is slow I'm hoping this will stablise at some point.

Re: 80/20 Trial Speeds

Just been upgraded onto to the 80/20 trials so far speeds are looking pretty good fairly decent ping times too Smiley just done a check with bt speed tester and my IP Profile for my line is - 70.55 Mbps and the upstream  Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 10 Mbps where as it should be 20 Mbps if im correct.

Re: 80/20 Trial Speeds

Hi there,
I've just checked both your accounts and can see that the fault threshold rate for the upstream hasn't yet been calculated which will be the reason for this.
In other words that means it should gradually increase over the proceeding 10 days after you were added to the trial.
Regards,
Adam

@yusef1985
You don't need to save and upload the image to show speedtest.net results.
When the test finishes click SHARE THIS RESULT, then just under there click FORUM, then click the COPY button.
Now just paste that in to your post, it will look like this:
[URL=http://www.speedtest.net][IMG]http://www.speedtest.net/result/1921890069.png[/IMG][/URL]
and will display like this:

It needs [img] tags wrapped round it to display the image.

More than 80Mb/s that is impressive!

Re: 80/20 Trial Speeds

Line Achievable rate from the Openreach modem is over 100Mb down, and 40Mb up  Shocked
Obviously limited by the 80/20Mb profile but

It's repeatable across various speedtest sites, and servers - so I'm happy it's a reliable result.

Re: 80/20 Trial Speeds

Indeed, no problem with that result, but the 91Mbps just isn't possible and is one of those glitches you get from time to time with speed tests.
